From Juniper Clue

Many of the early code names for Juniper products were gin based cocktails.

Martini Gibson Manhattan etc etc.

The reason for this is likely to be that juniper berries are used in the production of Gin!!

Juniper also makes the only routers in the world capable of telling haiku! The haiku list is slowly and painfully extended by developers in the momentary lapses of sanity between bugfixes and feature development.

Funny fact: In the early days of Juniper, vibration tests were done by rolling a chassis in a cart over a parking lot.
