Help:Editing
From JuniperClue
Anyone can edit almost any page on Juniper clue. You should see an 'edit this page' button at the top of every page. All changes will be visible immediately. Your participation is encouraged. Every page also has a history tab which allows you to see all prior versions. To roll back to and older version, view it via the version you want via the history tab, hit edit, and save.
If you spot a typo, please fix it right away. If everyone waits for someone else to fix things, they will never be fixed. If you'd like to make more substantial contributions, please create an account using the link in the upper right corner.
Juniper Clue runs on Mediawiki, the same software as Wikipedia, so the best place to go for information about editing syntax is over there. It is also useful to look at the source of other Juniper Clue pages to help you figure out the correct syntax.
Every page has a 'discussion' page attached to it via the tab at the top. Please try to keep discussions on that page, so the primary page can remain as a clean looking reference work. When you write a comment on a talk page, please sign it with ~~~~
When adding new information, try to keep it consistent with the existing work on the site. If you are familiar with the editing standards used on Wikipedia, try to follow them: they have proved to be very effective. If you are unfamiliar with the wikipedia editing standards, don't worry about it: Someone will come along and fix up anything you write to conform to the style we use here.
If you spot vandalism, please fix it (using the rollback procedure described at the top). If you see repeated or mass vandalism, please contact one of the sysops so they can block the offending user.
Please don't submit information that you can not submit legally. If you are under a Juniper NDA for a piece of information, do not submit it.
